David A. Stern, P.E. has 35 years of experience in the construction and real estate development industry. He has been a licensed general contractor and Civil Engineer in California since 1980, and has headed Westec Construction, Inc. since 1984.
His construction litigation support includes over 100 cases, representing both plaintiffs and defendants, throughout Southern California.
David is a 1976 graduate in Civil Engineering, cum laude, from Princeton University. He started in construction as a field superintendent with Turner Construction, and has been in the real estate and construction industry since that time.
He continues to manage projects, as well as teach construction technology at UCLA Extension and Cal State. He has published several papers on construction and construction management, and developed and built four hotels in China prior to the 2008 Beijing Olympics.
